I wanted to write to you all to express my gratitude for the wonderful day that you all organised for my Dad’s 80th Birthday on Sunday 23rd July, 2017.
The day was just perfect. I was super anxious when I arrived as there were a few hiccups on my end before the event started. However, within minutes of arriving the staff put me at ease.
I especially wanted to say a huge thank you to Carly (not sure of her last name). She is a superstar. Nothing seemed to be any trouble for her, even when we found out there was a last minute dietary change. She did a fabulous job, if you could pass on my gratitude to Carly, that would be much appreciated.
Thank you once again. The whole process, from day 1, ran super perfectly. There is no doubt I will be recommending your venue to all.

Both the bar and wait staff were polite, attentive and accommodating. Food service went smoothly although two of our guests received mains that were almost cold. The majority of our family and friends, however, commented on how great the food was presented and tasted. Luc was very professional, personable and ensured the meals and event ran smoothly.
We also appreciate Garys cheerfulness when dealing with song requests and as MC.
All in all the service we have received from the time we chose the venue to the day of christening has been helpful and professional which has made organising such an event a pleasant experience. We are extremely happy that we chose St George Motor Boat club for an occasion so important to us and our family and have highly recommended your venue to our friends.

Rhys and I would like to thank all of the staff from The Waterfront Function Centre for helping us to have a perfect engagement party! From our initial enquiry appointment to the actual night of the engagement party – we feel that that the whole process was streamlined and every little detail was covered and all went according to plan – which in turn, made the night enjoyable and not stressful for us.
When we arrived prior to our event, everything was perfect and in it’s place as we had requested. Once the event started, all of the staff involved were extremely helpful and exceeded our expectations on their service and professionalism. We received fantastic and positive reviews from all of our guests.
We will be more than happy to recommend The Waterfront Function Centre to our family and friends.

I wanted to thank yourself and your colleagues for the fantastic job of organising our party on the 3rd May. The room looked amazing, thank you for setting up just as I had imagined.
Please let the catering know that the food and service was excellent, bar staff fun and engaging, and the our DJ Talia did a great job keeping everyone entertained.
All of our guests as well as family thoroughly enjoyed themselves and with tales of “The Best Party they had attended in a long time” still being thrown about in conversation!

The staff were very professional, the food was superb, the DJ was great and the general run of the night went extremely well.
